The seventh-generation Ford Mustang is officially here and it does an exceptional job of sticking to what it does best. Rather than offering a hybrid powertrain, Ford has improved upon the Mustang’s iconic performance while adding a few surprises, inside and out.
Ford is focusing on ICE
If you want a Mustang-like vehicle that is also efficient, opt for the Mustang Mach-E. But if you prefer to feel the rumblings of an internal combustion engine (ICE) under the hood pumping out an insane amount of power, the 2024 Ford Mustang is the way to go.
Ford announced two powertrains for the new Mustang: a fourth-generation 5.0-litre Coyote V8 and an all-new 2.3-litre EcoBoost® turbo. The V8 engine is said to be the most powerful version ever and will deliver “the most naturally aspirated horsepower of any Mustang GT,” according to Ford’s official release on the 2024 Mustang.
While the Mustang maintains its athletic exterior design with little to no updates, the interior has been completely revamped for the 2024 model. Inspired by fighter jets, the cabin is centered on you, as evidenced by the 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and an available 13.2-inch SYNC® 4 display that are both angled toward the driver’s seat.
The advanced tech isn’t reserved solely for infotainment and convenience, though. The 2024 Mustang receives a new Performance Electronic Parking Brake via the Performance Pack to make for a fun drifting experience.
This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what you can expect on the 2024 Ford Mustang. If you want to know more, all you have to do is contact our knowledgeable team at AM Ford Sales in Trail, British Columbia!
